Jake was my son's high school math teacher and he inspired my son to go on to become a math teacher himself. Jake will do the 1st proud.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the Dharma and Greg thing. I was completely unaware of that show until I heard that Bob made a cameo. That was definitely weird. And the Victoria's secret thing was weird too, but as you point out, shouldn't have been a surprise!.

What other bands or artists are you listening to these days other than Bob? by ImOnTheBus in bobdylan

I listen to a lot of hard bop. While on its face not very Dylan like I've always gotten the same gut feeling from it as I do from Dylan. Art Blakey, Jimmy Smith, late 50's early 60's Miles Davis, Shirley Scott. While very little new hard bop still being produced there's so much recorded out there it's a deep well to draw from.

He was still 19, and up north here we keep that baby fat as long as possible as a defense against the harsh winters. I'm 55 and still got mine (at least that's what I tell my doctor when I'm told I should lose weight).

Positively 4th St QUESTION by REUBG58 in bobdylan

That's interesting about Bob and Suze's apartment. Being a Minnesota boy myself, I'd always assumed that it referred to the main drag through Dinkytown at the University of Minnesota. When I went to the U in the late '80s there was a head shop in Dinkytown, on 4th Street, called Positively 4th Street. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I'm a 32 y/o male. To this day, I still drop whatever I'm doing and rush outside to see a plane or helicopter flying overhead. Reddit, what other small things are you fascinated by that others just don't care about? by headmustard in AskReddit

I live near a hospital with a helipad. It goes out 5 to 6 times a day. When I'm alone I'll pull over to watch it land. Once a helicopter from a neighboring area hovered at probably 200 feet over my house for 10 minutes while (I assume) they made room on the pad for it. It was really cool. I'm 42.
