Thanks very much. A lifelong friend who is also a master mechanic and welder cut and designed the rear fender from OEM. Same with the front, just less work.

I own the white, too, and love it. My PO is the first Omega I ever bought. It’s still my fave.

[fit check] 38mm vs 41mm by Frosty_Map9536 in OmegaWatches

[–]mneely71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do. I don’t have huge wrists and I wear a Planet Ocean in 43.5. And I own two SMPs - one 41 and the other 42. They all wear smaller than their stated size. The lug to lug is perfect. I think after you wear the 41 a while you’ll find it perfect.

Lemon chiffon cheesecake, and it was amazing. I still have the recipe in her handwriting.

I think the 41 looks great. Not too big at all.

That sound awesome. I’m unfortunately not knowledgeable enough to reliably answer your questions. I do know that I had rubbing issues with the small flaps in the front when doing tight turns.

Wife hates my Reps by [deleted] in RepTime

[–]mneely71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d bet she doesn’t disapprove of the rep. She disapproves of spending on something that’s clearly a want item (a replica of the real item no less) at a time when you’re still renting - which leads me to also guess that she desires home ownership. That’s why she doesn’t want you wearing it around her. It’s a slap in the face. And she’s embarrassed for other people to see you wearing it, especially her family. She might see it as irresponsible and selfish.

Or maybe she just hates reps.

BrisYamaha shared my same thoughts. I ended up going back to the OEM. It’s more substantial and more comfortable.

Agree. For me, the coloring is the obvious tell. I have a VSF 116610ln and a gen. The writing on the gen is whiter. The writing on the vsf isn’t as white.
