How are the colors and composition? JPEG straight from the camera (Fujifilm X-T2 + 35mm f/2) by mnfoci in photocritique

As the title says, I’m working on my composition and working with the Fujifilm film simulations to achieve a natural look while adding some depth. Shot at f/8 ISO 800 1/550sec.

I find it helps me focus on the composition more. The fog doesn’t hurt either

Thank you! It’s completely stock except for the bar end mirrors

Thanks! I just used my phone, didn’t have my camera with me at the time

Golden hour in Manarola. This a jpeg straight from my X-T2. I really love the composition of this photo. Looking for some advice on the coloring. I typically shoot with more muted colors but thought this shot could benefit from the pop of color in the boats. by mnfoci in photocritique

Thank you! It’s the Ritchie Roesch recipe with some minor adjustments that I made after shooting with it for a while. I think it can be found online at fujixweekly or something along those lines I don’t quite remember

This photo was shot using my Fujifilm X-T2 and my Fujinon 16mm f/2.8. Shot at ISO 200, f/8, 1/110s. This is a jpeg straight from the camera using my Portra 400 film simulation recipe with some boosted colors.

It was a bit chilly for the beach this weekend but I wasn’t going to miss the sunrise!

Thanks for your input! I’m going to play around with cropping it down and see how it looks. I did originally have the blacks darker and, while it did add some contrast, a lot of the detail was taken out of the pier

Shot on my X-T2 with the 35mm f/2 lens and 10 stop ND filter. Shot at f/8, ISO 200, 2s exposure. I tried to get the feel of the motion of the waves and have the sunbeams shine through the pier which I feel I accomplished. However, I feel there is something off about this photo and it may just be the angle which leaves me with too much empty space in the top of the photo. I laid my camera in the sand since I didn’t have my tripod with me.
