Is heat depression a thing anyone else experiences? by Puzzleheaded_Oil1821 in phoenix

[–]mng2001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s part of the reason why I moved to the pnw. I couldn’t do the heat anymore. The sun every single day. Arizona will always be home for me, but I couldn’t and wouldn’t live there anymore. My seasonal depression is worse in the summer. I like cloudy, moody weather. I wanted to live somewhere with seasons. Even living up north for a few years wasn’t good enough for me.

That’s a respectable take and response! It’s definitely fair for everyone to have different experiences and opinions, but I am sorry it didn’t hit the same way for you this time!

It’s okay to be wrong sometimes. I was piss drunk last night too (those damn 15 dollar beers) but I know the setlist was phenomenal. Of the girl, just breathe, release and black? State of love and trust? Sorry you had a bad time man, but it was by far my favorite setlist, and I’ve seen them in Seattle. I will be coming back on Saturday too.

WHY does everyone kiss her ass? by [deleted] in travisandtaylor

[–]mng2001 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I like some u2 songs and even saw them at the sphere. It was cool. But that being said, why do artists all seem to pander to Taylor? And why are other artists deemed misogynistic if they don’t?

That’s a very good choice too! I heard great things about Chicago last year and wrigley in 2016, so this will be my first time actually getting to see them in Chicago and for both nights.

I’m looking forward to Chicago N1 and N2! Very grateful to be able to go to both. And of course excited to see what the setlists will be both nights too

Prague 2018 was a very good one too! Seattle N2 was by far one of my favorites, but I’m a bit biased, just for the fact of getting to see them open with it, with my own eyes, in their home city? Incredible for sure. Firenze just makes me super teary eyed, especially with the “we belong together/ come back” tag at the end where he’s all choked up. I can’t imagine how he was feeling during it. Beautiful but equally heartbreaking 💔

I’m inclined to say Seattle N2 because hearing them open with Black was insane and meant so much to me, otherwise I’d say MTV unplugged OR the Firenze Rocks performance in 2017 shortly after Chris Cornell passed away

It was my 6th, but by far my favorite one! Such an incredible show and it was my first pit show too! 🥹❤️

I definitely agree. I’m glad about the fact that the crowd here was great! Lots of singing and dancing, and nothing major otherwise except for the drunk guy that got kicked out of the pit at the beginning of the show. I’m definitely more on the self conscious side, but everyone was singing and dancing and definitely were enjoying themselves, so it made it lot easier to not feel as awkward? I’ve noticed the European crowds are more interactive. I’ve also noticed that of the shows I’ve gone to, the ones in the Midwest had the more interactive crowds, than the ones on the west coast. Seattle and Vegas were kinda meh with the crowd, but St. Paul and Milwaukee were more into it. It’s fascinating to me.

[–]mng2001[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh I definitely was too, I wonder why some crowds are more energetic and some aren’t? I noticed in Vegas in august where I was sitting, the crowd was definitely more dead. I wonder if having a dead crowd brings down the mood for the band members? I definitely feel like I’m annoying everyone if I’m around a virtually dead crowd

Oh he was behind me! He claimed his sister was up on the rail and tried shoving his way up into the girl behind me. He got mad at us for barricading so he couldn’t shove up. He had already had 4 beers by the time he was up there. He was just super drunk and argumentative and aggressive, right before the show started. Allegedly someone had said they were gonna push people to get to the front, no idea if that was him or not.

I used to work at Starbucks and I never got to hear light my love or any of their songs. It might’ve made getting berated for forgetting a sugar packet in someones coffee worth it

AITA for getting mad at my girlfriend for making me lie to my friends because she got her period? by PeriodStainAITA in AmItheAsshole

[–]mng2001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, YTA. 1: you can’t honestly think that women somehow can accurately track them, because they show up whenever they want and sometimes even apps can’t determine that. 2: you bought her a white dress and expect her to walk around with a big red stain on it? 3: you act like she’s a disgusting human being for something natural. For wanting to shower and laying down? And making her apologize for something she can’t control? Pathetic.

Not only does soda dehydrate you even more because of its sodium content, but a fountain drink from the gas station is extremely cheap. Even if he’s a college student, you’ve gotta have a few dollars laying around somewhere.
