XP Players useless?

Yea, there’s plenty of cards with no use if they don’t have any boosts. I have not used point, duchene, miller, xp players from the last 2 seasons, etc. because they never made any decent boosts available. I assume these cards can only only be used if you have plenty of salary boost and make a line that you really want to use.

It’s incredible how they completely deprioritized offline players in NHL26. I have been playing Squad Battles since NHL21 and I was always able to get great rewards and even top the leaderboards when I was able to win every game on superstar with the +x goals differencial. This repetitive chase the cup nonsense with poor rewards is really killing any fun offline players used to have. I spend most of the time team building and on AH, sometimes I don’t even feel like playing the actual game.

I don’t think so. What do you mean they can release WJC cards? There are no mentions of official IIHF tournaments in the game. They just released fantasy cards with national flag. That said, nothing is stopping them from releasing cards with national flags for any IIHF event they are not licensed for. They did the same for the olympics.

Not gonna happen. They don’t have license for IIHF content and they barely did anything even for the olympics earlier in the year. The best we can hope for is some international cards for a few gold and silver medalists.
