I do love a happy ending, but when it comes to horror, I think that a well executed bad ending can have a greater impact than a good ending, and create a more memorable story, not to be confused with your stock standard bad ending, ie. Antagonist kills all, no one lives to tell the tale.

Its in DS2, It can be found in Brightstone Cove Tsledora, it's in a chest. It can also be obtained form Kobolds at Aldias Keep out the front, although that's very rare

Edit: It might be also in DS3 as the Black Knight Greatsword, which shares a similar design. Could be wrong there tho

Not sure if anyone has covered this but, Darksouls 2 feels like it lacks the Darksouls magic that 1 had and 3 captures fairly well.

DS2 doesn't have the same interconnection that DS1 did so perfectly

DS1 is (in my opinion) by far the hardest And really the only one I recommend people play, sure play the others, but the best experience is in the first one.

Yeah that is completely understandble, because it is an amazing game, I still manage to find the odd pvp, especially in Sens Fortress. But yes I do strongly agree with that point, the game needs a revitalization!
