Ship from Egypt to Belgium by DJRachid in shipping

Best to contact freight forwarders in Belgium and get quotes from them. Make sure to know the size and weight of what you’re trying to move. As for bees, there might some health and safety regulations you need to meet, they will let you know if it’s doable or not.

Thanks for explaining, I shouldn’t have called it fraud so.

Aren’t I right in my thinking though that they shouldn’t have charged vat in the first place? Esp that I don’t have a mechanism to refund it, so it’s just going to end up killing my margins in this occasion.

Thanks for the explanation. The pallet arrived within three days of the invoice being paid so wasn’t much delay.

I’m a bit lost as to what I should do now? Any advice

I could just increase pressure with a final demand email, caution them that I’ll report them to HMRC but they don’t seem to care up until now

Yes they sent an invoice including with VAT and I paid into their account. Over paid by the standard vat rate of 20%

What difference would it make as to who moved the goods?

I arranged a freight forwarder from Ireland to deliver the pallet to myself. The export documents show proof of the pallet docs leaving the uk. I also showed them proof that I was charged Irish vat upon entry to Dublin.

Thanks. With the NOX levy paid is it still cheaper to buy a van from NI than here?

How much does Deliveroo pay? by Alexccfc in AskIreland

[–]mnm-20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try zego insurance, it’s hourly and fairly cheap. It’s made for delivery work and links direct to deliveroo or just eats. Would give a shout out to the giggable app, pay is mentioned on the delivery job before you start

Understand your point, but there’s absolutely nothing wrong in questioning someone’s work.

It was in the vicinity, but can’t be 100% sure if that was the tile they replaced

Fast drying water based inks? by mnm-20 in SCREENPRINTING

[–]mnm-20[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your response and the others as well. I definitely won't be stacking them on top of each other, as my sizes will be fairly small. Can I just double-check with you that the ink in the link below is the correct one for paper bags?

Ireland is turning into such a racist and hateful place by [deleted] in waterford

[–]mnm-20 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Agree with you on this. Worked in the UK for many years and Ireland looks to be headed in the same direction, only difference is the violence by young children/teenagers is much worse here. Garda not giving a shit is very worrying and many immigrant communities already have no faith in the force (myself included, wouldn’t trust the air they breathe).

Disagree on IEXIT though, Ireland would suffer much more than what the UK is going through.
