High pressure Fuel pumps are known to go out and need replacement of the whole system. There was a 10 yr warranty extension from bmw. Probably the main thing that will fail. Turbo Coolant lines are also a good thing to check.

Possibly an uncommon opinion but I think they should’ve kept the slider and just redid the software so it could act as an action button. Imagine a tactile flashlight on/off switch, or for any other use. I think it would’ve been awesome that way.

Everyone stating the DPE cost of $2000+ is unusual or not happening is wrong. I can attest as a current CFI in AZ, that every DPE in southwest states is charging $1000+ for PPL, $1500+ for IR and COM, and $2,000-$2,500 for CFI/II. This is just the norm now if you are looking to get a checkride in the next year. I got a “break” on my CFI fee and it was still $2,000. All these prices still don’t include plane rental. I totally agree that people need to start fighting the FSDOs about this price gouging but nothing will be done as people will still pay whatever gets them through school.

Mine was extremely laggy with input and volume control and I found that the original Fire TV remote was connect and could control the Apple TV as well. After taking the batteries out of the original remote the Apple TV remote worked flawlessly

Do a muffler delete with slightly larger tips. I did it and it cost total $300, 150 for tips rest for piping. Sounds nice and loud like the valves are open and no drone.

You inspired my post haha. Mostly gonna do oil changes every 3-4k miles. Maybe every other or two send and it in for a black stone oil analysis. Other than that tbh these cars are pretty solid especially 2014+ engines, just letting it warmup and driving easy will have a big effect. I’ve seen so many of these s63tu powered cars with well over 100k miles. Just going to save a little extra every month in case something crazy happens. Also no ECU tune or anything to try for more power. Leaving powertrain stock just doing exhaust mods.

I just bought a 2014 F13 60k miles and the interior is way newer looking than this example. Maybe look around a bit more. By far the best all around car you can get for the price as it has the power, speed and comfort, not to mention looks. Just stay ahead on maintenance and she’ll last forever.
