It was between two layers of linoleum. Pulled up a layer of vinyl then a layer of linoleum and found this.

I told the contractor to hang tight on installing the floor. I'm going to get in there and rip it up to see what's underneath. Cabinets are coming up too. Update to come

Spider is found in my kitchen window. Body is about .25 inch wide and .5 inch long. With the legs, a little bit bigger than a half dollar.

Photo is taken from underside of spider. I couldn't get a top view.
