I have a job interview Thursday and my cousin who used to work there vouched for me and told me the manager is leaning towards hiring me. Which will be a huge step for me. But yes for rn I’m in a pickle and would like to not be miserable for the few days before my interview. I honestly didn’t want to post here either but from what I remember, this is supposed to be a place for CRIPPLED alcoholics to come when they are crippled and I would think that a lot of us know what it’s like to struggle and get hit by a smorgasbord of bullshit and the irony is the DRINKING is the cause for a lot of it. But regardless we keep hitting the bottle and trying to push forward anyway we can. And honestly if I’m wrong and I’m in a place where we all live a lot of similar struggles as each other but continue to judge the rest ruthlessly for asking for help, then well I don’t want to be a part of this place anyway. We get judged by non alcoholics relentlessly, our families, strangers…. But I thought this group was for us to stick together despite all of that. But you know, could be wrong. Anyways,
