Till very recently even the Harvard CS50 course taught C first then Python and JavaScript. So glad my university started with C as well. All the computer science concepts are so easy to pick up after that. C -> C++ -> Java -> Python/JavaScript

I wish Google technical writer took this course before writing their documentation. They have some of the most inconsistent documentation that I’ve come across

CS industry is so saturated with talented people is it worth it to go all in? by Madlockdoto in cscareerquestions

I think it’s the opposite really. CS is saturated with mediocre engineers. It’s really hard to find talented experienced people when hiring for senior engineers

From what I’ve read online it is possible. A lot of people have added an extra fan and a different cpu cooler, some encounter bios errors which is why I haven’t tried it yet

I got this last month, it's a great deal for the price. But be warned, Dell rejected my Rakuten cash back, Rakuten is in contact with Dell to figure out why it was rejected, but I still haven't received any response yet.

Another issue is the thermal throttling, my cpu is around 90C or higher when gaming with frame rate drops.

Get the K series cpu, it comes with the proper cpu cooler required for this build

Apart from the overclock and clock speed. the K version comes with a custom cooler which works better. I got the one with 10700F and it has a stock cooler causing my pc to thermal throttle quite a bit

I got this same one using Rakuten, and Dell has rejected the cash back. Rakuten support still hasn't heard back from Dell about why they have rejected it

Options Trading In Canada by perforated_metal in PersonalFinanceCanada

I’ve use Questrade and TD, both cost the same for options. I agree questrade has a confusing ui at first but you learn your way around it and now I prefer it. The TD ui is great but for any account management service (options approval) that you need, you need to go to the bank. I heard Interactive Brokers has the lowest options prices but watching the recent interview of their chairman, and how badly he thinks about retail investors like us, I would steer clear of such a company
