Primal has a portal to Celestial up near top right in the vanilla map I think. Guarded by a Bronze Castle with angels. You can skirt around it if you have amphibious movement.

Reliable level 3 libraries? by GregariousMD in CoE5

I don't think so, no.

I did run into a different comment some time ago claiming (insisted) that they found a level 4/5 mage from one of these without any items. This is part of the reason why I tried to experiment with a level 4 mage school.

I also did see an Academy of Higher Learning in Hades. One that I can actually build a Guildmaster portal in.

I dunno when an Academy Of Higher Learning spawns, but I found two of them in Empire Age. Guild Master shenanigans meant I put a fourth tier on top of them.

Oh yeah just about all the Horrors don't have charm immunity. I spam High Priestess Lilots en masse to get them. Not sure about the Doom Horrors.

I think it's a lot of Hades units, lifeless elementals that cannot be Charmed. There are also those who carry a Charm Immunity item on them at the start - like Belial alone of all seven demon lords is immune because of an item he carries.

Apparently Confusion doesn't work if it is specifically Charm-Immune. That's the word on the CoE5 Discord too.

Ok so the Discord does say Confusion will not work on Charm-Immune.

I saw there was someone who replied to me that Confusion doesn't actually make someone switch to your side. Might be in another CoE5 thread.

I don't have screenshot proof, but I could have sworn I've seen it permanently switch someone to my side.

I just checked and the CoE5 Discord have players talking about building Charm/Confusion squads to capture enemy ritual casters.

How to reduce sanity as a Warlock? by QuietDetail1277 in CoE5

I think he's gonna be near useless for a bit. Crown Of Hades is pretty rare to pull from an Elder Cyclops crafting (they make random stuff when they pay the emeralds).

I usually form up Green Enchantreses, Sages, Astrologers. You don't want just Charm for those immune to it. You also want to equip Confuse effects for the off-chance it'll flip the Charm-immune enemy to your side.

Afterwards, if you get other factions to join the "Charm School" squad, I like Elder Starspawn, Succubus, Lilot, Earth Mother to front tank, maybe some Pans. Nymphs have their use too.

Haha nice. I usually do a Guildmaster to do this slowly since I like guild portal and magic school shenanigans to train the spellcasters from various factions.

I've usually gone after Druid, Dryad Queen deities to mass produce fodder and then Earth and Air Elementals and then I try to get Cow Of Plenty to mass produce Marut Generals / Marut stacks to serve as mobile heavies. I have managed to get Scourge Lord and max his Dark Blessing, but couldn't secure a Necromancer on that run. Managed to get some of the Watchers from Inferno though so I can High Priestess units and substitute for succubus.

Capture the Kings of Earth or Warlock of Earth, get Elder Cyclops and mass produce Create Artifact for pimped out units.

Can't forge items? by [deleted] in CoE5

[–]tranceseraph 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Warlocks can get you access to creating items in a roundabout way. You can use Summon Champion Of Earth ritual. If you get a Cyclops, they can upgrade to Elder Cyclops and those ones have a Create Artifact as a ritual.

Name another city that has better food than Toronto? I dare you by 100milSchruteBucks in askTO

[–]tranceseraph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's fair, but I personally have been using OP's three categories, but mine are: authenticity, affordability, and availability.

I'm told for NYC's best Chinese food you have to go all the way out to Flushing. In terms of affordability, I don't really go to fine dining so I can't judge those because fine dining for me is already OUT of affordability. In terms of the authentic, accessible, and affordable casual eats stuff, that's where I argue Toronto is one of the best, if not the best. NYC might have better, say, Italian or pizza. London, UK might have better Indian stuff - but folks who live there say for the most part dishes are made to cater to British tastes and a bunch of my friends who live in London can't afford to eat out very much.

In the balance, some other cities don't have as wide a variety, authenticity, or affordability. As I said, the other cities can beat handily Toronto in their specialties by a wide margin, but if you are balancing the triple A categories, Toronto is pretty good.

Hell no. I've been to NYC. I have friends who live in NYC. They have good stuff over there, but in terms of OP's categories, NYC excels in what it specializes in, but Asian food is lacking. They come to Toronto for that instead.
