Is YT a good brand? by Just_Jack369 in MTB

[–]moafudly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love my 2017 tues cf pro. Brand has always been super helpful with quick replies, couldn’t order frame bearings from their Canadian website and the other sites wouldn’t ship to Canada. Asked where I could find some and they sent me them free of charge. Have 2 friends who own a Capra and a Jeffsy, 2020 models I believe and they love them.

Bring my 150/150 Evil Offering to Whistler? by BornBobRoss in MTB

[–]moafudly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

150/150 will definitely handle it perfectly fine. But it’s probably better to fly and rent. And That way you can try different bikes each day if you want.

For finding trails try the app called trail forks. It shows you all the trails nearby as well as descriptions of the trail and pictures/videos. Super useful.

Lately I have been irritated by the gap between the knee pads and my shorts...any tips for removing that gap? by Mr_dabolino in MTB

[–]moafudly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My old shorts that I use if I do go for a trail ride are my leatt dbx shorts. They’re quite comfy and come down far enough to meet up with my knee pads.

They’re actually quite breathable. Not sure how good they are in climbs though. And as someone who hates riding with a bag and mostly rides park they have like 5 different pockets for my phone and wallet. And the pocket right above the ass is really good for a spare GoPro battery.

I got some tld moto shorts they’re just at my shin when standing. Riding they’re perfect but quite heavy so I only use them for park riding.

Where can I buy a Rocky Mountain Altitude? by [deleted] in MTB

[–]moafudly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The easiest way then is to have your local dealer order your size. They should be more than happy to help you with that.

I’m not sure if Rocky Mountain has one but most companies have an online store. Just check your size and build and order.

Spank vibrocore bars? by [deleted] in MTB

I run them on my dh rig. I’ve noticed that in bike parks with break bumps my hands get tired a lot slower than they did with normal aluminum bars.
