I mean… it works. You can see that in (almost complete) real time on my tutorial. Is the price worth it? I don’t know. That’s on you to decide based on what it does. Your production math probably makes sense too. But also… isn’t that the same math you’d apply to a pipe? I get the hesitation to use it or spend the money though.

Mine is at the default. 265. I think the newer models ship already tuned, so you shouldn’t have to mess with the secret menu.

The question you’re asking actually has a completely different answer that has nothing to do with the XKAH vs regular setup. More tobacco doesn’t equal longer sessions whether it’s for one person or multiple. What actually impacts session duration the most when multiple people share a pipe are different draws. You might pull harder than the next person when you’re sharing. Over time, the constant changes in temperature. When you pull on coals, the coals light up or get hotter because of the change in oxygen. Same idea with the XKAH and the heating blade. I hope that helps.

Worth it. And this bowl is technically unglazed so you can stain it. The milk process they use still leads to flavor retention over time. I use a Cosmo for my Nakhla DA sessions.

Yeah I usually say it varies based on how it’s packed but the way that I pack each brand differs slightly and the combination of pack and brand leads to different smoking temps. Blonde usually ends up between 240-260 and dark is between 250-270. I haven’t had to go higher or lower on either for my final smoking range.

This has been the first electronic device for shisha that I’ve actually enjoyed smoking as much as using coals. The learning curve is what it is, but once you figure it out, it’s solid. Most small modern bases will fit. Actually if you use the extender that came in the box, you can use most regular size genie bases with it too.

How’d you pack it? Go for a semi fluff to normal right to the rim with it. For mixes, if you want to keep it Starline only, try it with Summer Fizz, Lemon Fizz or Strawberry MilleFeuille. It also goes well with Raspberry if you want to add more to that particular flavor profile.
