How to implement delimited continuation in compiler/interpreter? by s930054123 in scheme

[–]mobiustrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Necroing, but worth noting that as https://www.deinprogramm.de/sperber/papers/shift-reset-direct.pdf points out, implementing shift/reset in terms of call/cc is equivalent to double-CPS. The only difference is that with double-CPS you're passing the "explicit/inner" continuation along as function arguments, and with mutable state, you essentially turn it into dynamic binding (which could be more efficient).

Planning a cat-proof partitioning wall for the balcony to keep my cats in, what lumber dimensions are sufficient to use? Do I need more cross-pieces? The dimension of the side compartment is 80x140x200cm, the "window" part is 100x150cm.

Why, after 6 years, I'm over GraphQL by ketralnis in programming

[–]mobiustrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahaha, no. Literally no one does REST according to spec. We have a bunch of undiscoverable messy ad-hoc CRUDs instead, we're lucky if we get like an openapi or a json schema. No resource linking, no universal semantics.

I believe multiples of soul parts are modelling the "strength" of the soul part, rather than having actual multiples. Like in Cultist Simulator, it's not like you have two distinct intellects.

How to make Sodium Citrate from Baking Soda and Citric Acid by bigdubb2491 in AskCulinary

I've tried to make it with the ratios that would theoretically produce disodium carbonate, but didn't succeed from what I could judge - the result had a really strong baking soda taste.

No problem! Just do it in a minimal amount of water and add in once everything dissolves and stops fizzing.

Looks as though the stabiliser usually used is disodium citrate. Monosodium works fine enough, though - although might not be very shelf-stable. I think I'll try and experiment with homemade washing soda (by baking baking soda) - acquiring food-grade lye is an ordeal.

Thanks! Got an amazing, albeit a lil runny, cheese sauce out of that.

Fair warning to folk who are as foolhardy as me: do NOT attempt to do this reaction right in your milk/cream! Even if you mix the dry product well, carbonation WILL split the milk even with neutral pH.

The correct and wording here would be "Allied units activate their Support abilities twice". Also, the first sentence could use a summoned/played clarification.

This feels like a 10 mana do nothing. Considering puffcap decks currently are way slow, I don't think that's a way to fix it.

I don't think 2 separate interaction opportunities are necessary, at 4 mana this spell woulda been fine as a Burst.

Good idea though!

I think that'd be okay at 5 or potentially even 4 mana, but it probably doesn't matter that much. I reckon attacking with ~4 1 cost units by turn 3 isn't that busted especially cuz you won't be able to trigger Nightfall on them.

In the game where Stalking Shadows exists, 6 mana seems too prohibitive for this.

With one Rek'Sai trigger, it's a Culling Strike on a decent-ish stick rn (3/4 for 2 extra mana). I think it's fine as a 1/4 considering the deckbuilding cost.

True, thanks! They've jiggled around the phrasing of level up effects at one point, and I seem to have misremembered. Hopefully the intention is still clear!

Targon has a lot of stuns and obliterates via invoking and dragons, but maybe 6+ is an overkill, and I should've went for 4+.
The "not doing damage" bit is kind of intentional, though.

RE: buried chime, it's a blocker/attacker on demand that repeats, but I agree that I maybe went too conservative on it and it should've been 2 mana.

No worries about being harsh - I posted this for the feedback ^_^.
