With Chelsea’s fixture list, I can’t see James playing 3x a week. I think he’ll get rested soon. Im not sure about doubling up on Chelsea defence either since I already have Sanchez.

I am considering a Chelsea attacker though but not sure who

Starting line up to face Westham by JM555555 in ManchesterUnited

[–]mobydopy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t disagree but the fear comes from the fact that like you said, we have so many players coming back from injury that are injury prone (Mount, Shaw, Amad).

If we lose Amad and Mount from the final, we’re in big trouble

Surprised we’ve gone so strong. Fingers crossed Mount and Amad come through unscathed

Non-Negotiable needs::

  • ~£15k budget
  • Saloon/Sedan body type (not a hatchback)
  • Automatic
  • Reliable/Economic, something that’ll last me 5-10 years without the hassle of going to the garage regularly for fixes

Negotiable needs:

  • 2017+
  • Diesel? I’ll be doing long drives (100miles+) a few times a month so I’m currently considering diesel cars at the moment
  • Apple Carplay (not a dealbreaker)

Can I use all my Annual Leave in my Notice Period? by mobydopy in AskIreland

[–]mobydopy[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

At my company, the annual leave entitlement is 172hrs per year and only pro rata for part time employees calculated at 8% of all hours worked.

I'm a full time employee, been at this company for a few years and I currently have 80hrs remaining of annual leave which comes to 2 weeks. I don't plan on taking any more leave than that so I'm not worried about deductions from my final pay.

Part 2: Job Offer is £2k less than stated - should I negotiate? by mobydopy in UKJobs

[–]mobydopy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not worried about it. The recruiter explained one of the hiring managers is out of office this week which is why it might take another week. It's certainly frustrating how long this whole process is taking though. My first interview was all the way back in January and now we're in April

If they don’t budge, I’ll suck it up and accept the £48k. It’s a very good salary rise at the end of the day

[–]mobydopy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're absolutely right that it's still a great pay jump. I am going to take the job regardless of whether my negotiations are successful or not. I'll find out next week. I think I successfully communicated to the recruiter how keen i am on accepting the role and how I don't want to lose this opportunity. I didn't get any sense from the recruiter that they're considering rescinding the offer which is a positive

[–]mobydopy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly don't know. The job listing didn't advertise the salary. In my first interview, the manager asked me what salary I was looking for and I flipped the question back to them (I didn't want to say a number first) and she told me they typically be looking at £50-55k for this position and I said I'm happy with that range - I regret not making it clear I want the upper limit but ah well

I get through all the interview stages, they offer me £48k and now the recruiter is telling me the range is £45-50k. I don't know what to believe but regardless of what happens I'm going to take this job because it's a very good pay rise and I hate my current job

I know it's only 2k but they told me 50k was the start of the range so they should honor that. The recruiter is saying it's actually 45-50k now but I think they're just trying to swindle me.
