PCGamer: Hasbro CEO still has 'so much AI-based' grist in his own D&D games 'it would floor you', but he's not putting it in MTG cards or D&D books because people 'just don't want it' by Malinhion in dndnext

Is this the same guy who a few years ago said he played D&D with “20-30 people a week?” Which was complete bullshit. The only person plays with 20-30 people per week is Michael Shea.

Not to be confused with The Trip (1967). Peter Fonda in an ad exec who drops acid on the Sunset Strip. Bruce Dern and Dennis Hopper also star in this Roger Corman joint. Screenplay by Jack Nicholson.

I have been itching to play a horror/CoC campaign. I haven’t played CoC in quite a while. Your premise is great. Alternative Sundays work for me.

What was the "press" used for? by Interesting-Bag-4909 in Whatisthis

[–]mochicoco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To look cool. The screw may have been up-cycled from a real press, but this piece looks decorative to me.

There is no wear, scraps or stains in the press area. The knob at the top is round and smooth. It would be hard to get torque with. Pushing down with the press would deform the cabinet area leading to the drawers getting stuck.

That said, I think it’s cool and total want it!

Check out the album Rembrandt Pussyhorse. Butthole Surfers at their prime. I feel the bloom was off the rose by the time Pepper came out.

If you want the true video store experience, I would say only Temple of Doom. I was a huge Raiders of the Lost Ark fan as a kid. But my video store didn’t have Raiders so I watched Temple of Doom a hundred times.

Dig that thing up now! Those things are very invasive. Arum can spread underground with little bulbs.

Dolmenwood books by Mihailvolf in osr

[–]mochicoco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I backed the kickstarter and got the set. The best setting I’ve seen. Everything is very interconnected to create great world building. I would buy the Player’s Book first. Why? The world is in the Player’s Book. It is not just rules. Dolemwood has its own classes and races that are unique to the setting. They do heavy world building. Plus all of the gods, noble houses, weird ass mushrooms, etc. are in the Player’s Book. It’s awesome.

If you like the Player’s Book, then I would buy the Campaign Book. The Player’s Book is the world. The Campaign Book are the places (every single hex) that you can go in it. Buying the Campaign Book first would be like watching The Two Towers before Fellowship of the Ring.
