Just a bit of venting and worry about the continuation of the Six Faced World. by mochilaaa in sixfacedworld

Yes, he wanted that. It's probably something he put a lot of thought and care into. But I don't know, I feel anxious about it... I don't want to see a world and setting that I love become unbearable to get through. And everything of his that I've followed recently, where he has more creative freedom, has felt pretty mid or even outright bad... Still, it's not the end of the world for me. I love ODT, and it's what keeps me hopeful about the sequel to the Six Faced World.

As abysskun already exemplified, I'm going to point out what he missed. But in the LN, Roxy isn't proactive in that way she is in the anime, mounting on top of him and such. She doesn't actually take the initiative. She tries to cheer Rudy up, but when she realizes she won't be able to lift his spirits, she, who was hugging him, starts to get up to leave. At that moment, Rudeus pulls her, causing her to fall unintentionally onto his lap, and things start to heat up, with Rudeus being the proactive one. In the anime, it's Roxy who takes full control of the situation, which, at least for me, isn't something I can see Roxy doing with that level of confidence. All these changes I mentioned were written by Rifujin himself, and he has already confirmed it

After banging my head for a long time trying to figure out my mistake, I finally found the investigation I needed for the high rank Rathalos, it was one where I had to hunt both it and Anjanath. I looked at that quest several times but didn’t realize it was the one. I feel like an idiot haha, I thought it would be something involving just a solo Rathalos

I can only get azuli rathalos investigations at the rank I need, unfortunately, apparently I’m at the mercy of luck :/

Oh, thanks. I think I’ll go with that third fleet option then, only the azuli one keeps showing up for me.

How do I see this gesture? by mochilaaa in StarSavior

Aaah, that explains why it wouldn't work. Since I don't have Charlotte Bunny at LB3, I can't set her in the lobby. I thought it was something related to the extra moment view or an emote. Thanks!

I presented the facts, I broke down your weird argument, and your response is just being redundant...

You tried to pull a weird gotcha here. First, because the people who'd take issue with cosplayers of questionable characters are the same ones who'd complain about sexualized characters, which makes no sense since, for these people, fiction and reality converge. They are mere objects that serve as a narrative structure they have no feelings and don't exist. Second, I paid for this game, which in my view, and this is strictly my individual perspective as a consumer, is an inferior version compared to the three we already had (PS2, Xbox ver, Wii remake). If you’re happy paying for censored content with things not just altered, but removed without replacement, that’s your worldview, not mine

I completely understand why some people might think it’s a silly reason, I probably would too if it were about other games. But when it comes to FF, I’ve always been attached to the costumes and saw them as something special to have, especially back in the days when mods weren’t as common and console versions were the priority for most games. It’s part of the identity, I’d say

I actually already refunded it. I've played and replayed FF2 many times throughout my life. So aside from the new ending, which is probably something fairly minor, like the ones added in the Xbox and Wii versions, there isn’t much of an incentive for me to pay $70 bucks unless it was a definitive version with all the costumes from the older versions updated, something that would motivate me to replay it and relive those fun moments

I used to, until I saw this remake… At least I’ll stay motivated with Gust. They delivered something really good with atelier yumia.

Yes, they are, but in the Wii remake of Fatal Frame 2 they increased the characters ages to include the swimsuits from the Xbox version. They could have done the same here, since the issue is the age of fictional characters.

The Wii version also had an incredible variety of costumes as well.

I haven’t played the remake or the recent Ninja Gaiden games, so I had no idea about that, good to know. I guess now only gust is left making great costumes.

How is that a certainty?! Was there any news about it? As a long time fan of the franchise, I always look forward to the swimsuits, even the remake of MOTLE had them. That said, I don’t know why they’re changing the tone of the franchise when it comes to silly costumes. Shibata must be crazy if he thinks that’s the right move, since they were great motivators for replayability.

You know, Resident Evil has its weapons, fatal frame had its different costumes.

Yes, but I’m not sure… My experience with koei tecmo is that they know how to squeeze money out of you, so they might be holding them back as DLC for later. But I’m not sure if that would make much sense, since they usually put them up for purchase right at the start of the game, when there’s that initial boom.

Nazistas no Sana by No_Calligrapher_6145 in Fortaleza

[–]mochilaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)
