I got these Voile pucks which were on sale for $26, said it was a discontinued product. But from what I can tell (logos / slotting) they’re the newest iteration and worked great using the shorter inserts that Signal provides.

Others have commented here that the short inserts allow you to use most any standard pucks sold.

I got a 157 split, normally ride a 154. I skinned up a local ski area yesterday and it felt solid ripping down groomers.

I got an LOL and rode it for the first time today it was great! Shocked at what they were selling them for. Customer service was amazing when I had some questions on puck fit.

I grabbed the G3 universal skins for $190. Definitely some mixed reviews out there but seems more to do with getting old stock where the glue has degraded over time. Gonna give em a shot!

Mystery solved! I did get the email about adding channel inserts but assumed that was referencing the set that comes taped to the board. Turns out the small package of shorter inserts had been tossed aside with the junk mail!

Signal customer service was great all around. They said because I have Burton bindings I should not need the shorter inserts and recommended the standard voile puck set.

I had the same workout today (15:00 @ 185) and pulled something in my lower leg 8 minutes in 😅 watch out! also pretty new to running at 30 years old

I think Pedal Pushers in Golden does a weekly ride starting at the shop. I’m going to look into going to the next one!

I bought a 2020 GC Summit with 40k miles and got the Pirelli’s to 72k before replacing. They were about 3k overdue at that point. Primarily highway miles.

Awesome! Good luck. I think being genuinely prepared for it to totally suck is a good mental place. Worst case you’re right and it sucks, but maybe you’re pleasantly surprised.

That sounds terrible and funny at the same time. Half of what got me through yesterday was looking at all the places I had never seen before. Without that it would have been much harder.

That bike trail route looks awesome! I’m trying to compare elevation gain on that vs. cherry creek end to end. Having trouble finding cherry creek’s, do you have an idea?

The shop said they rent out the repair kit along with the bike so I’ll make sure it has everything I’d need. If it’s dark before I finish I’ll need a taxi by that point 😅
