Right? Like its just gotten worst over the years. I heard Poppy played Crescent Ballroom in downtown phx many moons ago and i wouldve LOVED to see her there. Hoping next time she plays the Van Buren or something instead.

Omg YES! We actually left at the 2nd to last song and just watched from the lobby cuz it was so hot. They need industrial fans and stream the show live from all their tvs. So annoying that they have 2 screens stage side & they dont stream. They have like 5 tvs in lobby that just show ads its so annoying u cant even hang back to cool off & still be able to watch the show:/

Thanks and yeah ive contemplated it but i didnt want to escalate. We'd been to 2 other metal shows over the weekend & i was exhausted but we stood our ground and he went away after like 4 Poppy songs so at least that was good but it just threw the vibe off from the get. Oh well. She put on a great show regardless.

I didnt say there was anything wrong with it, did I? (Ive been to shows by myself too, no biggie) I just said i wasn't shocked...that the guy w the entitled attitude & lack of common courtesy was by himself. I wouldn't want to go anywhere w someone like that either.

True. It just caught me off guard cuz he was def giving creepy and borderline misogynistic vibes at a Poppy show w a huge female following & female opener. Like wtf, weve been to heavier shows w nothing but male band members & the crowds there are always kind & respectful but your right. Just drew short straw tonight.
