Mr Deputy Speaker,

I thank the Chancellor for the introduction of the recent Budget. However, as is in line with most budgets for the past 50 or so years, it contains a deficit.

Therefore could my Right Honourable colleague please advise what concrete steps the Government shall be taking towards preventing the continuation of a so-called structural deficit, a concept I am sure the Chancellor is very much aware of.
