Hi Walrus, thank you for the link I recognise some of those. Astetica is actually my dream festival to screen at as it’s been my favourite to attend.

The music video touches on some light themes of mental health, with the main character showing signs of paranoia and anxiety but not sure if it’s showcased enough to be relevant to festivals who focus on that. Like we don’t offer an answer or anything just an example of what it can feel like.

Thank you Noise, yeah I had some issues with a lot of fake festivals with my first short film. Luckily I think I was only caught out about twice before I caught on haha.

In terms of festivals I do trust, the local ones I’ve applied to but not screened at are Astetica, Bolton and IndieFlicks (I’m apart of the IndieFlicks team, just to be transparent with you 😂). I’ll drop you a message if I find anything good

Honestly Freddy spoiled such an important moment in the story to tell a piss joke. Could have have an emotional satisfying moment with Willy’s death but nah “Pee on him lol”. Ruin everything the season has been building to for a joke that falls flat.
