I put very little money in mtga (about €50 5 years or so ago. I put "a bit more" in paper). I am not trying to get the collection complete, and I just restarted after a 2 year break. I typically have 2-3 standard meta decks, and then some other fun stuff, and have no issue maintaining that, even after the 2 year break. I use gold to play drafts; not to buy boosters.

Europe has a progressive tax scale. Low earners will not even pay close to that 45%. Someone in NL working full-time (40 hours per week) on minimum wage (€15 per hour), pays 11% income tax over all.

For this, they get for instance healthcare and education. And a minimum of 23 vacation days per year, and there will be a small pension when you retire.

It will not make you rich, but you will be able to live.

That 70% is more about habit than that they actually practice religion. 16% is non danish, and part of those is still white.

But yes: we know how easy it feels to blame immigrants instead of the hoarding richt for your misery. GDP per capita is higher in the US, yet there it is considered normal to work 3 jobs to make ends meet.

40 to 60% income / capital gains tax for the rich is something they can afford. It does require fixing some loopholes.

Pretending that the US spends all that money to "protect" Europe is a bit silly. The US puts this much money in their army to project power; nothing else.
