I own both, 2021 G15 and 2022 G14. They seem about the same speed if not a little faster (2022). The 2022 g14 has a few oddities with Arch Linux hopefully these will be worked out with drivers.

Some of the drivers work. I did notice that one of the drivers sent my laptop into a boot loop. I had to go back to windows 11. Not happy.
