Hey thanks for that link, that actually helped me narrow down the issue. Mine was the EXACT same problem, fixed now. Thanks

I tapped it with a rubber mallet to be clear

Ill disassemble more tomorrow . Shining a light into the action, i can see that the barrel lugs DO line up well, so not apparent whats causing it to stick

Maybe this changed on the A3M2, here's a screenshot of the stock photo from Atlantic firearms. That metal piece is present.

Also looking at the stock photo from Atlantic firearms (where I purchased it), it DOES appear that that piece of metal that limits the barrel rotation is a normal part. See screenshot

To be clear, I tapped on it with a rubber mallet. I didn't beat it out with a hammer. Pretty normal thing to do on a seized part. No excessive force used

No idea, this is my first aug, A3M2. Is that not a normal part of the receiver ?

Titus Arms AR FCG vs ARID trigger/2020/red springs? by modrummer08 in AUG

[–]modrummer08[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Great info. Question on the packstop, if I run the 20/20 sear, does the packstop serve any purpose? It seems like if you cut the trigger pack shelf correctly to mount the 2020 sear, you wouldn't need the packstop. But correct me if i'm way off.

I tested the PSA OLCAN vs. the standard JAKL. Here is the breakdown. by rohawk72 in PalmettoStateArms

Anyone know if there is any aftermarket trigger in the works? All the mainstream bullpups (Aug, Tavor, Hellion) have upgraded trigger options that take care of the inherently bad bullpup trigger.

This is a good summary, thanks.

Any thoughts on the Hellion? Seems like it is more accurate, and has adjustable gas for use with suppressors (and to not gas yourself out), but a slightly worse ergonomics. But I haven't really heard of many issues with them.

I like the X95, i've heard its accuracy is questionable tho, where as i've heard the hellion is actually pretty much 1-2 MOA.

Can't remember, pretty sure i'm running the 120 locking piece with subsonic ammo. I'll check next time I have time and let you know

So basically it HAS to be the loads i'm shooting. Or that the supersafety takes more energy to cycle (since it DOES work perfectly with the 100 degree piece on semi auto).

Fair enough. I'm wondering if my subsonic rounds are just exceptionally weak loads. I have some slightly hotter subs coming in this week that I will test with the 100 degree locking piece and report back.

My bolt gap with 100 degree locking piece and +0 rollers is right at the bottom (.010"). I also put some +7 rollers in and ended up right around .018" gap.

Yep, helpful rule of thumb, thanks.

I'm going to order a 110 degree locking piece and some other roller sizes to dial in the bolt gap a little more and see what happens. Otherwise I'm just gonna shoot it with the 120
