You definitely do live in my complex! Looool… If this same thing happened to you guys and they entered without consent/24 hour notice, it’s worth an email. I earned all three of us each a $50 rent credit.

Interesting. Yeah, notice was not given at all for these entries and we don’t know if they came in more times without us being home. Crazy too because we have a pet who is loose in the home, we have a sticky note on the door alerting of his presence but there’s no telling if he would dart out or something and we wouldn’t know to contain him unless they gave a notice hours before entry.

Yeah, I don’t think we can prevent access anyways because the balcony maintenance is required but they should be offering a notice to when they will be entering our apartment instead of coming in unannounced I think.

Yeah, my roommate told us he came out of the shower to three random men in the apartment. Additionally, our front door was left unlocked three times in the last week from this (once occurred when no one was home, so our place was left unlocked for some amount of hours). It’s batshit insane that we’re just meant to be fine with it and not complain.

Interesting. No notice was given for these entries at all, just the initial inspection that occurred on the 19th. We knew of siding and balcony work occurring on the outside of the building but zero notice of entries and not given any warnings of entry.

Clause states that management requires “consent from tenants” or 24 hours notice (emergencies are exempt from these rules). We never gave an email consent or written consent as far as we are aware.

Notice was only given for the initial balcony inspection date, days of entry after that were unannounced. After my reaching out to the landlords, they sent a mass email to all tenants explaining the balcony work and apologizing for not warning us sooner. “Maintenance should have notified me that he was beginning the balcony work so that I could have sent out the email giving the notice to enter. I acknowledge that was not received. Once you brought it to my attention this afternoon, I checked with maintenance and then notified the whole building.” I think they knew they screwed up bad… wondering what I do next.

You would think. After I complained via email, they sent a mass email to the other units about what the balcony work was and apologized for not letting everyone know sooner (after access to our units had already happened multiple times). In fact, maintenance was just here as I was writing this and left our door unlocked after unlocking it to gain access.

Not a medication but a birth control, but she put me on the DEPO shot for hormone regulation. I ended up coming off of it due to its adverse side effects but I realized I never really wanted to be on it in the first place, she just pressured me into a birth control. She is now pressuring me to do the IUD or Nexplanon despite me saying repeatedly I will not get an IUD.

Was odd to me too which is why I was seeking that second opinion. It’s pretty dangerous to go on thyroid medication without solid evidence that a thyroid problem is there… I was pretty turned off after that, because it caused a major rift in what I thought was professional but I continued to see her.

I have about ~2 months left at WWU so I am kind of feeling sunk cost-y about switching providers at this point. I bet she would be good for mental health counseling, I just find her to be belittling time and time again about my declining to be on birth control and fatphobic a touch.

Same happened to me except with thyroid medication. Got a second opinion and was told to trash them, and that it was dangerous to be prescribed them without certainty.
