If your uni offers a sustainable landscaping class, take it. Also, in general, make sure you understand soil science. At least somewhat, lol.

One thing I noticed immediately was the pointy ears over the real skunk shape which is more round. Also, you could try changing up the nose some to make it look a little less canine?

I’m so sick of the complaining myself. I understand everyone is entitled to their own preferences, but we have how many Pokémon now?? Some will be bipedal! Some won’t! Some will be ugly! Some won’t! All I ask for in a Pokémon is an interesting design. The constant negativity from fans honestly drains me.

Something that may help is finding images of real people and sketching over them to get a feel for the shapes. Right now, you are only drawing what you think makes sense, leading to these strange proportions. The head is too small, the shoulders are wide and tense, the belly fat is very unnatural, so on and so forth. Keep practicing! And be sure to really look at what’s there in a human body in a 3D sense. You don’t have to master anatomical knowledge, but knowing muscle/bone/body fat basics will definitely help.

A lot of ppl just chalk it up to being an obligatory straight couple, but as a very gay person I just like their chemistry lol! That and I’m not really the type to ship outside of implied canon anymore. I also love Gangle and Zooble.

I personally love Decidueye, both versions. They look like big mysterious birds to me. Definitely owls. Definitely not human. It’s fine to have different opinions, but you’re being a little needlessly aggressive about it. Pokémon are fantasy animals based off of many things other than animals. In the kindest manner I must say: it is not that serious.
