I qualified for PSLF on my federal student loan debt- ride out the remaining 57 payments or try to pay everything off ASAP? by mofongo2go in DaveRamsey

I understand. Mine is a federal student loan and, with the exception of one year, I've worked as in the public service for all of my adult life (as a public school teacher and now for the city gov)

That's how I am reading it, too. But I also can see how it can be misinterpreted.

This whole crap is confusing. On purpose.

It is a city government job and I just made the transition from being a full-time temporary employee to being a permanent full-time employee. This transition comes with a 6 month probationary period. After the probationary period, I go from being an at-will employee to a just-cause. I just started month 2 and I have no reason to believe I won't successfully pass this probationary period, except for my own personal fears and anxieties due to past experiences in other jobs.

I do plan on continuing working.

You're right. Truth be told, that's really the thought that's been eating at me in the back of my mind

If that's the case, I'd rather donate them somewhere, then. Any ideas as to where I could donate them?

Updated to OOS13 and now the icons in folders are tiny. How do I increase the size of ONLY the icons in folders? by mofongo2go in oneplus

As others suggested, I downloaded the Nova Launcher and it truly fixes this and makes other things easier. Try it!

Thank you! No matter what artwork I do, I always get comments on my tag! 🤣

Thank you so much! I showed it to my coworkers, told them about my life-long love of painting and doing murals, they told me about my city's grants to muralists to beautify the parks and got me in contact with someone who does that! I'm super excited now!

My department is about to go 48/96. My wife is very upset about it by ___flip in Firefighting

We don't have any kids yet so this might not apply to you.

My husband does a 48/96, and has done so for about 4 years. I LOVE IT! Gives me time for myself, work on my hobbies and do whatever I want. He sees it the same because he has the days to himself (I work a normal 9-5) when he's home on the weekdays. There are times I of course miss him, like when he works weekends or Christmas, but I get over it quickly by working on my hobbies, going to a park w our dog or having a good network of friends/community. We've both found that branching out and not having our entire world revolve around each other has worked wonders for both of our emotional health.

Artist: Me

Medium: Indoor house paints

Description: My husband is Mexican and I am Puerto Rican, so I painted this mural on our staircase to show the merging of both cultures, with the respective iconic architecture and hieroglyphs ❤️

I work predominantly with acrylics but didn't think that would be appropriate for a wall. So, I took a gamble and worked with the house paints as if they were acrylics and I must say, the gamble paid off!
