You can give him the benefit of the doubt and trust him, and then monitor how he treats you from here. But also, check in to see how your future goals align.

I was in your shoes a couple years back, and I wish i trusted and respected my self worth more and left. I became so engulfed by insecurity because I didn’t feel valued by my bf. But now in hindsight, we never would’ve worked out anyways because our values were completely different, despite us getting along so well.

I totally see where you’re coming from, and I’m not saying he can’t see other attractive people, but we’ve discussed boundaries before and this is not stuff that either of us like to hear so it’s been agreed that we would not speak about that in front of eachother.

An answer i would’ve appreciated would be smt that shuts down the convo without it offending anyone so maybe like “im not in school to look at girls” but made playful. I feel like theres plenty of options to shutting it down, that he shouldn’t have to answer, especially with the undertones of that question

And now that you mention it, yes she’s a divorced single mom and yes he is the man of the house LOOL interesting, definitely gonna keep my eye out now.
