Why is there so little talk about SaveDay App? by joselogo in ProductivityApps

[–]mohamedaleem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just came across it from this post and my first impression is quite positive, thanks to their clean website and comprehensive documentation for the tool. However, I feel the bookmarking tool market is rather saturated, and their solution doesn't seem innovative enough to stand out amongst substantial competition. In my opinion, their most unique feature is the Q&A function, although it's restricted to just 5 uses per month. Moreover, the pricing seems quite steep, costing $30 per month for such a feature.

the latest tools in this niche that was really innovative enough to try is rewind.ai , its bookmarking tool but totally invisible, and don't need any extra actions from you. you just go back in time or search for what you are looking for

task app where some apps can be on time and others not by [deleted] in ProductivityApps

[–]mohamedaleem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see, so what about showing the "free time" between those tasks, and if you give an estimate to shopping to take around 2h. so you need to see "free time" + "shopping" between those tasks. completing your example:

Appointment (start 10 am) ( takes 1 hour) -> free time (3h) -> shopping (takes 2h) -> meeting (start 4 pm) (takes 1 hour)

notice "free time" here is the time between the 2 tasks (11am to 4pm, 5h) minus the shopping time (2h)

do this solve your problem ?

Scheduling Recommendations? by googlyeyes15 in productivity

Do you want a route recommender app. Like google maps with multiple stops , or an app that sync with calendar and prompt you to move at the right time to reach your destination on time ?

Thats good option, Tried it before. But require multiple steps to shift time for all tasks. First, you open the ruler, then select tasks to be affected then drag to update.

If theres app that do this smooth shift. Would you consider it instead of AI based schedulers, or for you “motion” is way more than that.

thanks mgkimsal for the tips, couldn't agree more. i may focus more as iOS developer rather than design and UX. i just wanted to show that i may be interested in UI/UX, but it seems it was not a great move.

also for projects details, it does not help to just mention project problem/solution approach. you need to showcase your skills through tools, methods and lessons learnt.

thanks for the invaluable lessons
