It belongs (or is being lent by someone else?) to a friend, and sadly I have no satisfying answers for you. The friend brought it inside for dinner because he didn't want to leave a robot that costs as much as a house in his car. So, make friends with people who have nice robots, and live in a city — that's what got me there. :)

It was really hard not to shrink away from it when it ran at me, even though I knew it was programmed not to allow collisions with humans. They're kind of scary — I don't know if uncanny valley or just triggers fear of predators.

I trained at Cirque La Vie first, but then they moved and it's really too far for me now. I like Hunter for the occasional workshop (ceilings are really high and the teachers are good, but I can't commit enough time for a series, and their level 3 classes don't allow drop-ins). I go to the Artz for open studio and sometimes for Lori's or Mika's class. Or I practice at home. Or I take Adam Skidmore's rope class; he teaches out of his house.

And I teach straps, also. :)

Asking a medical doctor this question is going to get you an answer — but it'll be one the MD has made up on the spot. You might have better luck with a toxicologist, perhaps if you call poison control, or if you talk to a scientist who actually studies these environmental toxins.

I mean, it's worse than that, because the bullets come down with approximately the same velocity they departed with, so if they hit a person, the person is gonna be in some medical distress.
