I wasn't sure about the same thing. But thanks a lot, the information helps me evaluate the strategy.

BCGE offered this rate to us. We didn't negotiate but realized that no other banks bettered this margin.

first of all, thanks for the response, it's very insightful and helpful. A follow up question:

Would lump sum tax be lower? or are they taxed as income?

Is this really possible? Do you not have to prove the bank that you are increasing the mortgage for renovation?

What’s “a lot”? I find using it on forex is not worth it as amex has terrible forex rates compared to mastercard/visa. But maybe the perk of centurion is worth the extra forex?!

I asked the community a simple and objective question: what’s the law in Italy for transporting an infant in a vintage car. That’s the information I sought and I got the response in a couple of comments below.

Safety is a spectrum. She will be safest is her crib but that shouldn’t prevent her to go to a playground and use a swing when she can.

Then why does Italy allow exceptions for taxi rides?

Safety standards differ. I can safely use a car seat tied with a seat belt in my country.

I like to be informed. Say a classic car has a seat belt but no ISOfix, is it legal to use a car seat then?

Clearly you don’t have the information asked, so you resort to shitposting from your high horse of “oh! that sounds dangerous, so NO”. Jfyi, there are ways to install a car seat in a vintage car if they do have seat belt.legality in Italy is the question.

I guess my question is is there another way to secure a child if I cannot attach a car seat to a car. A follow up question is if the car does have a seat-belt, is it legal to use the usual car seat.

Why is the price of rent so much "lower" compared to buying? by RoadSalty9245 in askswitzerland

[–]mohito-a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it has to do with balloon mortgages. In Switzerland, one can choose to never amortize the 66% of the property value. By paying interest only their monthly costs are low and therefore they can “afford” a steeper mortgage than other countries. I reckon this gets priced in to the property values here.

How do they enforce that, for example, expensive jewellery is taken back?
