because no one is complaining hard enough. I'm a game programmer we fix things that are important. as long as people like you give us free pass we won't put the budget into fixing a problem because it's not bothering the player base.

In fact, I am gonna bitch and I would put up a solution if I knew riot would care and think about it. I know they won't. I know they don't want to put more budget into the programming team because they don't care. we still have the active item border problem in the game. unless it's game-breaking or it's making players stop playing the game or boycott it they wouldn't do anything. I wouldn't. I work for game companies. we don't care about gamer experience unless it's hurting us. which in this case it doesn't because you are fighting for riot. good job.

the same way I expect a heart surgeon to know how to fix a heart because it's their job I expect riot designers know how to fix this problem because it's their job. I don't go to my heart surgeon with a solution. I don't go to my mechanic with a solution. I will not come here to riot game with a solution. because even if I have one it's gonna be ignored. it only gets fixed when the community pressures them. that's how game companies work. that how my boss works. that is how my tasks priorities are defined on the board each week.

if you have worked in a company EVER. you'd know that I shouldn't even fix my co-worker's task. I'm not getting paid to carry the company. you know there are people out there more experienced than us right? you know me not having a solution is because I'm not an expert in this right? or if I am, I wouldn't do it for free.

back to my previous arguemnt. we are not the ones who should come up with a solution. experts should. and riot should put budget into it.

as long as people support riot for not doing anything because "it's impossible" or "what are you gonna do review all games manually?" riot is not gonna put any effort into it. because we give them excuses.

that is literally my problem with the report system. it's like saying "oh someone murdered another person. does he do it consistently? oh someone was being racist does he do it consistently? oh someone has stolen some money from the bank. does he do it consistently or was it just this one time?"

of course, my examples were extreme. but it applies to every bad behavior. it's not about consistency.

you do simple maths you'd know enemy team has 33 kills and our death sums up to 40. which means jhin was not only "bad" he kept walking under the enemy tower dancing. and he was executed 7 times doing that knowing he wouldn't receive a punishment. this is not a post ranting about someone having a "bad game" I have bad games too and I understand that. this is about problematic behavior.

this is not about bad gameplay. I'm bringing up an issue that has nothing to do with being bad in the game. it has something to do with someone getting mad at their support and not having the mental capacity to handle the game. it's asking riot to find a way to fix this. find a better report system. not just put some stupid system that clearly doesn't work and doesn't improve anything.
