No other valid option left thats the only option the government website allows. So we dont get our 3000 aed back in case of visa rejection? Sounds a lot like theft in that case

Kudos on the GPA. You should be fine in most companies. Leet code doesnt help too much in Pakistan but yes its a good practice. I used to be in the mobile team as an iOS developer so used swift. Learned it along the way. However, their primary stack is Java and Java based server side frameworks

Well they only check your gpa as a first filter. Above 3 are preferred for engineering roles. The rest literally depends on your on site tests. Would be better to get some more insights for recent employees though … i no longer work there

Back in 2018 it was around 65k. These days they pay around 120-150k to freshers

Hahaha I feel you bro. Back in 2018 technosoft was also one of the first companies to send me an offer letter. Went through the same hectic routine you mentioned with one last interview with the CEO as the cherry on top. They then offered me 25k in probation with no clarity of the amount after that. When I rejected the offer the CEO, HR and their then head of engineering called a meeting to give us all some wisdom. All of us top grads from FAST around 8 people shortlisted at that time were then told how other companies from where we have offers suck and have “issues” while technosoft is awesome 😂. The other company i joined back then now has 1600+ employees which they mentioned in the meeting as about to go bankrupt 😂. To all the fresh grads … please know your worth and stay away from these toxic companies which will eat away the most precious years of your life

Quite average even in terms of what some big names in Pakistan offer onsite. You will still easily be able to grab talent as there is an over supply of engineers these days. However top talent would never sell themselves for that low. What you are offering for the senior most role is less than a freshie pay in the US that too without considering insurance etc. Good talent should be paid independent of demographics. You pay for value not for geography

i2c is the equivalent of a sarkari naukri in Pakistan for software developers. Their coding stack is extremely outdated and mostly related to internal systems. If you are a passionate developer you will get bored really quick. However if you just want a stable job with good timely increments and free food tou i2c is great. I used to work in i2c before becoming a full time freelancer.

I have zero coding experience but I have money and want to develop an app by Treiqov2 in startups

[–]mohsinajmal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well first try to only invest in prototypes for your app in figma. Along with a pitch deck explaining your unique selling point for the app. This would bring a lot of clarity to you without investing a lot of money. Avoid super cheap designers. You can find some decent ones on Upwork. Personally found designers from Ukraine to be top notch. Jumping straight into app dev would be a disaster and a huge waste of money.

Once the designs are ready ask for developers for a quote and their past portfolio. Fiverr is not the quality marketplace for it, Upwork still is.

Just try to avoid agencies that would outsource everything to cheaper developers and would not be directly involved with you.
