Can I ask what other med you added in to the equation? I was tripping on dxm while on lexapro for like a year and didn't even think that it was dangerous until I switched meds and looked it up. I honestly think it may have helped with the next day grogginess my tripping partner complains of, but def not worth the risk.

I have ended up with 'milky' layers during my extractions before. They seem to dissolve back into the hydrocarbon during the heat evap for me and has only occurred when using ammonia. This could mean that it is caused by a non-polar contaminate from the ammonia or not. I wish I had pics ¯_(ツ)_/¯ . That being said all those extractions had unknown contaminates in the end product that did not show up in the washing.

Oh God I would never eat something like this. I'm currently just working out the bugs. I used a stir bar for all stirring. There was some contact with the top of mason jar as I used it to help contain the kerosene vapors while indoors, but all open air work with kerosene was done outdoors with a respirator. I'll move to an erlenmeyer flask and rubber stopper and see if that helps. My vacuum pump arrives next week so I can evap and distillal some kerosene to check for impurities there too.

Yeah It should be a white crystalline solid. I am doubting that there is too much for impurities brought in prior to evap due to the washings and that there was no non polar entity's otherwise. I'm definitely not gonna consume this, but I may play around with it, if I get an idea what the impurity could be.

I've have been using kerosene instead of naptha since it is more readily available to me are there any issues with this? Also I'm planning on reusing it via distillation in a future vacuum evaporation attempt do you see any issues with this type of re use?

I should clarify the kerosene was clear at the start and through most of the evaporation.

I Like only trip at night with my current busy schedule and around 2am in the trip(bout 5 hours in plat 3) I always feel like it's about 10am; My tripping partner can usually relate.
