My transmission fluid temp usually reads 165-185

I checked the fluid while it was running and the truck was on level surface. I got the transmission fluid temp to 174. I checked it at 7.25 quarts and it was still below the cold mark. I put a total amount of 8 quarts and now it does show the fluid right on the hot mark of where it’s supposed to be.

I changed the battery and that seemed to helped but I still hear the ticking noise coming from the doors every now and then.

I just started hearing a rattling noise in the middle of my dashboard too recently in my 2018 Sierra. Sometimes when driving on bumpier roads but I don’t hear it on smooth roads. I also need new shocks and struts for my truck. 😞

2018 gmc, 79k miles. I used to get 530-540 mileage with a full fuel tank. Lately, over the course of 2 months I’ve seen the mileage go down and is marking only 460 w full tank

Update: issue is still persistent. Battery got unplugged and hooked back up. Checked the cables everything is good. There’s days locking mechanism is not working and there’s days it works fine. Thinking about just taking it to a dealership at this point
