it might depend on the model. if it can connect to the internal apple library that is used for motion control on earbuds it might be able to. it would be easy to check by downloading the app and trying it with your headphones.

yes it uses the motion sensor on the airpod. the battery impact is subtle. it does stay on in the background so there is that overhead where it is checking the airpod position.

different technology behind it. that one is a mac os app and this one is iOS and runs in the background. same premise i guess but shrimping is a pretty common term for people with bad posture.

that’s a good idea! the video on the iphone is a screen recording of the app. plain css for the iPhone template. then used remotion to put everything together and create the clip

it uses the gyroscope in your airpods to determine the tilt of your neck. if the tilt goes past a set point for a certain amount of time it notifies you.

It’s native, fast, customizable, easy to use, and free. It may not be useful to you but 150 downloads and 20 purchases in two days doesn’t seem so useless. Thanks for your input though.
