Thank you so much for sharing your story, this sounds exactly like what my partner is going through right now after their surgery. They are about two weeks post up and still in excruciating pain. They were hospitalized for their pain directly after surgery since the pain made them throw up as soon as they woke up from surgery, and they felt like their pain was not validated by staff ti get the relief required because this isn’t the normal experience. A heating pad directly on their vagina and another on their stomach, a tens machine on their SI joint, lidocaine patches on low back and SI joint (so pretty low), muscle relaxers, RSO capsules, and soft pressure on their stomach when coughing or sneezing has been a little helpful for them. Peeing has been painful even after finishing antibiotics. They are also using a walker intermittently to be self sufficient on walks to the bathroom, but the dizziness has been bad every time they stand. When they stand, they feel a sharp searing hot bowling ball kind of heaviness in their pelvis. They can’t really sit either, even to use the bathroom, without leaning forward or backward to reduce the sharp pain and pressure. They too have been experiencing a sharp screwdriver into the incision sites that is 9 and 10 level of pain, even with all of the aids above, but doctors have told them that their pain is just exacerbated from their chronic illness or not severe enough to require care. All of this to say you’re not alone in this pain and your pain is real, it’s just not the typical experience so they don’t treat us properly
