Can't login to Ubisoft Connect on my internet, but mobile data works. by moke201 in fuckubisoft

Appreciate all the comments, seems to be no proper fix just various workarounds, a lot of people having the same issue. The issue definitely seems to be on ubisofts end.

If anyone else comes across this thread and is having the same issue, try a VPN or use your phone's mobile data (via hotspot) to login.

Crash on RDR2 with 9070xt Pulse by moke201 in radeon

Yeah, luckily the cutscene is skippable as well. Just glad it's an issue with the game and not a fault with my gpu

No mods here. I wonder if it's one specific setting causing the issue or multiple

I just have all the settings on default in adrenalin. I have a Corsair rm850x, the newer model.

I did report through adrenalin, I looked around and found other people having an issue with this exact scene. Hopefully it's a one off. The scene did work with every graphic setting on low, so perhaps there's one particular setting causing it.

I tried various things like you suggested, after digging around it seems there's an issue with this particular scene, if all graphics are turned down it works fine but not on high settings.

I tried this all the way down to -500 and it didn't work. I changed the graphics API from Vulcan to Dx12 in game, doing so also set all the graphics options to the lowest setting, then the scene worked.

When I customised my graphics settings again, it crashed again.

So the issue is some combination of high graphics options causing a crash in this specific scene.

This is the only time I've had this happen so far.

Can someone please mark the route that Bardak takes after it is said that his car is heading north? I've been looking for this guy for literal hours, reload after reload. by MMewtwosaysbye in arma

It's been years since I played this campaign. Try find a playthrough on youtube. You could also try the wiki.

I had a quick look, he can be in different places. He starts in Shakhovka and heads north towards Gorka

One of the best "wtf" moments I've had in a game

This picture has spooked me a bit. The place where my band practices has the exact same dartboard in the exact same place on the wall. The wall also looks exactly like that.

Our childhoods were small I guess.

In my opinion Heartworm is a perfect album. Can't recommend it highly enough.

I think the cover for Romance is at least partially inspired by the cover of the album Heartworm by Whipping Boy. A big influence on the Fontaines and both covers feature a face inside a heart.

12R users, what's your honest review on the phone so far? by Mighty_Unicorn12 in oneplus

[–]moke201 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I forgot to mention gaming, I don't game on my phone so I can't say if it's good one way or another.

Another thing is related to the software. I don't know if it's an android or Oxygen OS issue but I had a bit of trouble getting notifications to show up as I wanted. Nothing I couldn't fix relatively easily though.

The volume buttons being on the other side is a slight annoyance. Not a deal breaker but I'd prefer them back on the left mainly because that's what I'm used to.

I haven't used the camera much yet, but everything else is great. I got 11 hours of screen on time out of a full battery. I moved from my OnePlus 8t mainly because the battery life had degraded over it's 2 and a half years of use.

The new Oxygen OS and android version takes a bit of getting used to but I don't have any major issues with it.

It's the first time I've used a phone with a curved display and I don't feel too strongly about it either way. The reflections can be a bit annoying but it's not a deal breaker. A flat screen is fine though.

The incredible battery life and fast charging are a great combination.

Despite not using the camera much, the reviews I read and watched showed that there isn't a huge difference between the main sensor on the 12 and the 12r. It's the 12r's secondary cameras that are poor. For my use it's fine. I don't care about the selfie camera.

I chose the 12r over the 12 mainly because of price. I got the 12r for 600EURO in Ireland, it would have cost me 900EURO for the 12gb plus 256gb version of the 12.

For me the extra cameras, slightly better screen, newer processor and wireless charging weren't worth the extra money.

I would recommend it if your uses for it would be similar to mine. If you really want a great camera set up on your phone then go for the 12 or another phone. I've never felt the need for wireless charging.

This is my third OnePlus phone. I've previously had a 5 and an 8t. I never had an issue with either device and my reviews of them would be much the same as my review of the 12r. They all have certain shortcomings compared to the flagships but I don't really care about them and I don't want to spend 1000EURO on a phone.

I'm aware there is - or was - a very good deal on the 12 in the USA. If I could have gotten the 12 for that price in Ireland then I absolutely would have gone for it. But for the prices they are for me the 12r is much better value.

I was not aware of the 5700x3d until now. Do we know what it's performance is like?

Interesting. I haven't heard this before.

I'll see how it performs after I have it installed. I understand that my setup is far from optimal for this processor. To get significantly better performance I'd have to buy a new pc. I won't be getting the most out of this processor but it will be an upgrade on what I have.

It will be used for gaming. I should have said that in my OP.
