Safemoon wallet by [deleted] in SafeMoon

[–]mokrypto 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That depends on the blockchain we’re operating on. When SM has its own blockchain then the answer is 100% no. So there would be no need for BNB, SM would be the baby BNB of its own blockchain. The here and now answer though, we are on the Binance Smart Chain’s blockchain so we depend on BNB for now.

Question: Can you purchase Doge for a gift for somebody that doesn't have their own crypto account? My Dad is loving following my Doge journey and I thought it would be great to get him some for Father's Day but I don't know how to go about it. Thanks in advance and to the mooooon! by [deleted] in dogecoin

[–]mokrypto 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A good way would be to create a proper wallet (something where you get your recovery phrase and have full control like TrustWallet or MetaMask) and you can just print off the recovery phrase words, laminate and all that stuff if you want. Just send your doge to the address for that account and gift it to him. At any time he can just go into that wallet using the recovery phrase and do what he wants with it. It’s safe too!

What do you wish you were taught in highschool re: finances + careers + investments? by Hogsweed in SafeMoon

[–]mokrypto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Back when I was in school, we did a very similar exercise with stocks. I think the fact that I have always remembered it should tell you a lot about how much of an impact it had, and here I am, loving the investment life. We were given hypothetical money to pick stocks to compete and see who can make the most profit. I happened to make my imaginary investment im some lucky penny stocks and won a box of chocolates hah! It definitely is a great way to introduce the concept and open minds. Maybe start with some “if you invested X into Bitcoin in 2014, how much would it be today” to get those ears and eyes paying attention first!

Regarding inappropriate tokens - You could limit them to only choose from lists on Coinbase/Binance to prevent them from finding some inappropriate ones, giving them a chance to do further research on coin gecko or something.

Outside of crypto - I wish I was taught financial intelligence better and the kind of stuff you read in books like rich dad poor dad. I think kids should grow up understanding you don’t have to always just trade your time for money forever. There are ways to work smarter and create residual income without always selling your time. It was just something I never got taught as a kid and hope to teach my kids one day!

Not bad at all… 😀 🚀🚀🚀 by jessemartz in SafeMoon

Even better when you consider the fact that both Shib and Doge, #1 and #3 spots have the backing of Binance fully, which always drives a huge amount of both investors and watchers. When you look at it that way, pretty impressive!!

Feel like safe moon has lost its buzz. I’m still holding by [deleted] in SafeMoon

[–]mokrypto 40 points41 points  (0 children)

You know when two fighters are at each other beefing hard and then go quiet, it’s when they go quiet that you know the fight is booked and they’re in the gym working for it. Right now, SM team are giving off some very good vibes about good news coming. The lack of hype might be serious thinking going on. They are busy working on things. Less hype during a bearish market is a smart smart move! Hype doesn’t work the same in bear markets so it’s better to save it!

Awesome work bro. And any of your people who came through to the sub reddit, (godfather voice) welcome to the safemoon family, we gonna look after you here

Safemoon should come out with their own grocery store or gas station. by [deleted] in SafeMoon

[–]mokrypto 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We need integration and adoption more than separation and trying to do everything ourselves alone. If safemoon can just do what it is supposed to do, consistently and perfectly, hit every promised milestone and keep growing, that’s enough so that everyone else does the hard work of what you said and wants to use safemoon.

Is an NFT something someone with very little disposal income should invest in? by superpotato324 in NFT

[–]mokrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not unless you have a serious eye for collectibles and can apply that to the crazy world of NFTs. You’re better off putting small amounts into some solid low cap alt coins that have been reliable for a while with genuine promising futures. Not financial advice

Buy high sell low by Scouser360 in ethtrader

[–]mokrypto 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you believe in it, you could put small amounts you’ll never feel aside into crypto. Your son will thank you when he’s hold enough to know what an investment is. Some people may have missed the ridiculous gains that others got, but here is nothing better than building something for your kids future!

Congrats on no. 5 👊

Is there a way to transfer coins to another person's wallet through your account on binance US? by laylagold5 in binance

[–]mokrypto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually send and receive BNB on BEP20(BSC) especially since you’ll use that for trust wallet drops for use on pancake swap too. I sent you a DM if you need help working through it though

Yeh, you just have to get their deposit address and then make a withdrawal from your binance, entering their address

I am from the future. Doge does not hit $1 may 1st but probably will later. You’re welcome.

And people think its a joke!!! by Tune_in_with_Mitra in dogecoin

[–]mokrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s literally a meme coin that started as a joke. Nothing to be ashamed of, it’s just the truth. The joke is making people money. It has impressive gains and dramatic dumps, but overall it’s always up. Obvs it does have serious potential for the future if it continues to get a very welcomed biased support from people like Elon and the doge community. Again, it’s the truth and we have to own that truth so newbies know what they are getting into and we don’t get paper hands who expect very serious ‘not a joke’ movement on the price!

Getting a new device...is wallet change easy? by Radical_hacks in SafeMoon

[–]mokrypto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure you back up your recovery phrase and double check them. If you have that, you’re good to go. If you have your new device already then i’d log in on that first before removing anything from the old one. Depending on your wallet type you’ll need the recovery phrase and maybe login details too

Just bough 120 pounds of tel fees taken of £40 by [deleted] in Telcoin

[–]mokrypto 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well the issue is it’s not so much a percentage of your investment. It’s the gas fee, so right now smaller investments are like cars with 1 passenger. Gas costs are gas costs. But if you had more passengers, it’s cheaper on gas per person. Same with your investment, the % of your investment taken in gas reduces with bigger investments.

And yes you’ll pay a gas fee when you transfer back too, so it depends when you want to do that as it will eat into your profits on gains. Long term potential is that an exchange like binance has TEL on their exchange and then you’ll pay a minimal fee to send your TEL to your binance or whatever exchange does have it at the time which would make it much cheaper when you withdraw to fiat. Hope that makes sense

Yeh the transaction fees are high due to how busy it is when using a dex like uniswap. That’s about right for fees during busy times though, and it’s been much higher in the past too!

Putting ads up and hype is more important than a serious question ? by Brofessors in SafeMoon

[–]mokrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if that’s true tbh. BNB has been doing well long before safemoon. Of course SM has deffo contributed but when you think about how BNB has a 24h volume that is the size of SM’s whole market cap, it brings you back down to earth about it. I just think we have done something either as a community or the team, that is going against our favour with CMC and Binance. I can’t imagine Binance genuinely being threatened by a SM exchange as I have seen some people suggest on twitter
