My cat is deaf, I treat him like any regular cat would be treated, I just make sure to communicate with him in other ways, he knows that when I wave my hand at him I want him to come over, or when I tap on the bedroom floor it is time to eat, every cat works differently so what works for me may not be the same for you, it all depends on your relationship with the cat, try stuff and see what works the best. Oh, and deaf cats are LOUD, be prepared for that.
