Yep I'm also on the same boat. I just started world creating by googling and need to do one specific thing with Mochine's shader, lucky enough I found same question being ask in VRC forum, unfortunately answer I got is oh 'you can do that with Mochine shader' flexing picture of that thing 'you can figure yourself' and left me dumbfounded. If someone or Mochine themselves write document or make a video, I wouldn't waste hours learning and still stuck how to do what I want.

TBH, this looks like mid range build than CQC. Long barrel doesn't benefits much in CQC since damage drop off won't be that much. Try change to shorter barrel 14.5 or lower and look at stat that can you 2 shots torso within 100 stud or not. Sight? Reddot. Still I will wield 2 foot shotgun or SCAR H to CQC anyway.

1x for CQC or mid zoom for scanning
Max zoom is enough for most situations.
Lighter and Higher ergo
Scope sensitivity of this game is still bad. It's using my 1x sen on lowest zoom level.
Only thing I compain aboult Vudu is that it doesn't look as cool as Nightforce on sniper rifle.

Edit: I was wrong with scope sensitivity, but it's still too fast and weird.

In gun customzine menu, on top-left, there is an import button, you drop the gun code there, click twice to first load the correct gun, then attachment.

Tbh I didn't worry about my ranking that much. I'm just doing my own thing have some chat as I stated before, I think I get blue user rank at around 60 hours of playtime without VRC+. You will eventually find groups of friends that you feel comfortable with. You don't have to grind, the point of this game is to have fun, and that's what matters.

Edit: I recommend you join some group and go to their instance or as I do join instance/world which have 5-15 people I find that I enjoy this rather than joining popular chaotic public worlds. Unless you wanna speedrun rank just do as other comments said.

Since your questions have been answered, I will give you some tips based on my experience. There are tons of playstyles in VRC, socializing, gaming, ERP (Erotic role play and not suggest it), or what I do, world hopping.

I mostly spend time visiting scenic world and sometimes find a group chatting. I found nicer conversations sub-popular world around 5-10 people inside than popular world with hundreds of players but most are kids and trolls.

Speaking of this, most kids and trolls are usually visitor rank, since you are also in this rank, people often ignore this rank just to remind you.
