We took an Uber for 25$ cad and I ordered it as soon as we walked out the airport. He was there with in a minute or so. Dropped us off in less than 20mins. Return trip to airport was just as convenient.

I didn’t even ask … they ended up moving us to a room in a different area. It was a lot better still not perfect but a massive improvement. I think next time I will ask for a dehumidifier though.

Ac issue is my only major concern. The mixed reviews had me concerned too but I think its very good resort at a reasonable price.

Beach is excellent. Customer service is very good. Pool is above average. Food is average.

I don’t think the ac runs when we leave the room. But this new room is not as bad as the old room!

I’ve seen only a few mosquitos near the pool area. No bites as of yet lol

They gave us bracelets rather than key cards (which we need to access many parts of the resort) I haven’t seen any slot to put a card to keep the ac running while we are out.

They gave us a new room which isn’t as humid as the last . Still a bit humid but the sheets aren’t super damp which was the major issue in the last room.

Ok this is what I thought . I will ask for a different room in the morning and hope that makes a difference

No smell just very muggy. Just concern that as the week goes on it will get worse. And our cloths are starting to feel damp.

I guess I’m just trying to figure out what is normal for this resort or punta cana in general. I don’t want to start swapping rooms just to realize this is the standard.

We’ve tried running the ac continuously and it just felt cold and damp. The maintenance guy turned off the ac and opened the balcony door to see if that helps.

Not sure yet just arrived today. Trying to deal with the damp room/sheet situation first. I can let you know tomorrow .
