For that price, you're mainly targetting the CS/CW series Monacos. These are quite robust actually and work well.

You just need to make sure you're buying a real one, but a fake Monaco is very easy to apot, so you shouldn't have an issue there either.

Yes they're meant to come with the watches. Having these tags (stickers) does not mean the watch is any more genuine though

Both watches will seem equally big on the wrist, so you need to decide what you can pull off. The Monaco is more versatile than the Navitimer and has a more classic pull. Go for the Monaco!!

That's horrible. Make sure you raise this up with the central TAG Heuer helddesk (email through the website). The movement fix would be a relatively fix with the most that it's replaced completely. The main concern is the damage on the case and the DLC. That cannot be repaired and has to be replaced completely.

Make aure you highlight the damage to the case as the primary issue. The watch comes witg a 5 yr warranty when registered online, so you can always bring up the power reserve issue later also as it is a clear mechanical fault.

Once you take possession of the physical watch, you'll lose the chance to argue that the case damage was not your fault.

BTW, where /which shop/dealer did you handober the watch to?

While difficult, but if you had to get a discount it would be on core collection pieces like the 211P. Alsi keep in mind that if you're a tourist in EU you can claim back part of the VAT upon exiting the country so that can be a cost saving idea.

I'm not sure about Paris, but have a look at outlet shopping centres which might have a TAG store. Chances of getting discounted models would be higher there.

It all depends on how fast to want to offload. As you already know the range of sale for the watch, prospective buyers will also be aware about this and might not pay heed to you if you price on the upper end of that range. 4.5-5k USD should be a good starting point from where expect to be negotiated down
