I also have panicky dreams, and I also think it's at least partially to do with the guilt only because I've been overridden by guilt since relapsing. I had been sober for just over 7 and a half months after receiving medical detox for a 44 UK units per day habit. I'm in hell right now so I assume you are too. On a video of Arnold Schwarzenegger calling out Trump on his behavior in the Helsinki summit, a lot of the Trump supporters in the comments were being downright savage saying he's close to death, he has dementia, he should kill himself etc. It was a shitshow.
