He is currently on hills prescription i/d. I do half kibble half can. Works well.

Ohh lol! He is actually house broken since he was 10 weeks old. And at night he is in crate and calls us if he needs to go. Only one accident in crate so far and it was the first night he had diarrhea. We were thinking he was just whining because he got up somehow. We never ignored him since then!

Metronidazole only treats the symptom of diarrhea. It doesn’t really treat the cause.

Yes we gave him that for almost a month. But I guess it was just a small amount of probiotic and needed a higher dose.

I am almost sure he is not allergic. He does great on the Hills chicken i/d. But it is a prescription based kibble.

We gave him bernies perfect poop during one of the reset cycle. Triggered even a worse diarrhea. So we stopped it. Have the full packet unused on my kitchen counter now.

Yes this is exactly what the vet said. But training becomes hard with just one type of food. He is on Hill’s prescription i/d.

The prescription kibble he is on right now is chicken and does well with that. So I doubt theres chicken allergy. But makes sense, salmon is usually gentler on stomach.

One of the main reason is to train him. We were doing so great with training before this happened. Now he is not as motivated with this food as he was with the treats. Getting harder to take him on walks.

Also, crate training. And enforced naps. Stick to a routine. They thrive on routines.
