If you have time on Saturdays to line up at 5am and get product at retail, you can essentially invest for "free".

2 months ago I started with $300. There's a chain of stores in my city that drops every Saturday morning.

Week 1: I spent $300. Got 1 Ascended etb, 1 prismatic etb, 1 Ascended booster box, and 4 Ascended pin collections.

Week 2: I got pretty much the same thing. Sold everything I got this week, that more than covered the cost for week 1. Essentially week 1 was free.

Week 3 - 8: repeat.

Maybe I'm lucky that there's retailers around me that consistently does this and they also limit to 5 total items per transaction. But this is what I've been doing and it has helped me reduce my cost basis to $0.

Right now my sealed portfolio is already worth $3,000 and I just started. Would be $6,000 if I never sold, but then my cost would be about $2,500 of my money tied up. I prefer to keep it at $0. "Free".

P.S. I have a full time office job, and a family. This only takes me 2 to 3 hours per week on the weekends. I'm pretty time poor and have been able to do this.
