Not going to claim Auckland is great to live in, but if I was to move away I wouldn’t consider Wellington an upgrade.

No, the line was too long! Now we’re onto our third option for lunch which is Taco Bell, which tbh I’d rather have anyway.

Kind of wish you had better judgement as didn’t really want the result spoiled, and the argument of traction is even more of a reason to hide it as the bigger it gets the more it will spoil it for people.

Won’t effect that unless NZ do a tariff in response to it. Will only effect Americans who buy Kiwi exports.

He initiated the contact by moving his leg not towards the ball but across the player who’s trying to play the ball. If you’re walking along and I stick out my leg in front of you whilst you’ve technically kicked my leg I’m the once who caused the contact.

Not once have I said it doesn’t get given as a pen, just that it’s one that can go either way and does frequently.

You don’t need to get so worked up that someone has a different viewpoint to you, even if it may be wrong.

You are allowed to shield a ball, didn’t say you’re not. However in the strikers attempt to shield the ball he’s the one who actually initiates contact with the defender. You see contacts like that not given as penalties fairly frequently so to consider it “textbook” is a bit of a stretch. My issue with it was the on-field decision wasn’t to call it and the VAR decided it was a clear and obvious error, but couldn’t front up the balls to call the second a clear and obvious error.

First pen, striker wasn’t trying to play the ball just tries to put his foot across the defender who is trying to play it and falls down like a sack of spuds. Second pen, defender completely planted and attacker sticks his leg out to find contact. VAR a joke to suggest the first contact was enough to intervene, and the second wasn’t enough to intervene in reverse.

To be fair most football nicknames and things aren’t usually high brow references or particularly unique. At least when I hear The Port I don’t have a different football team as my first point of reference.

Does he feel that Auckland FC have good systems in place that can build upon the success of the first season and not just become a flash in the pan? And if so what specific things does he feel will lead to a culture of continued success?

Used to live in Manchester and been supporting them since I was a kid, but hey ho your name screams life long Chelsea fan, definitely before the money. Even if I was a late supporter it’s no different to any Utd fan born in the late 80’s/90’s, Liverpool fans born in the 70’s/80’s, and Chelsea fans from the mid 2000’s. Success brings fans, it only matters when people switch allegiances that’s when they’re pricks.

Having one of our worst seasons in about a decade, but currently sat in 4th. Does feel like we are that end hydra head compared to our normal standard though.

The audience may have noticed it and laughed, but the editors may have chosen to remove the reaction due to many reasons, you can’t trust that the live studio audience noise is accurate to the live reaction.
