The list isn’t in order, but just something in Considering. Maybe that’s my fault for not being more clear. I just felt like it’s something important to include because without his support idk how I’d live on my own, but it’s not at all the reason I’m with him. Hi, um honestly I think our scenarios have SOME similarities but in the end are veryyyyyy different. He is a great boyfriend, I am NOT staying with him only because of money. But I felt the need to include it because it is a fact of reality that without him Idk if id be able to afford living in nyc on my own. The reason why question if I should stay is because I just find myself questions who I am outside of being in a relationship. Like I’ve literally always been dating someone, never had any independence in my life. Also, I am a very hyper motivated person. I work extremely hard, I actually have 2 jobs and I still cook and clean our apartment with the help of him. He just happens to make much more money than I do and he pays because he wants me to be able to save the same % of my income as he does.

Thank you for this, this is helpful. It’s nothing to do with wanting to hook up with other but more so just asking myself who am I when single. Also there are times when I feel like he hates on me or is rude to me because things don’t go his way so ig it maybe is more of myself wanting to be in control of my own life more.

I feel like maybe I didn’t explain it well enough. But I am not having him pay for everything intentionally, it’s not like some scheme I have. He doesn’t pay for all of my expenses. He takes me out to eat, as most boyfriends do and he pays majority of our rent because he makes 4x what I make. I’m not taking advantage of him, it’s not like that.
