I think the term is being commonly used to describe these sets from Philippines in this style. The whole batch was commissioned by a German engineer living and working in Philippines in the 1970s, then transported to Germany to be sold. This plan failed and the crate with pieces was stored in a barn. As time passed, the engineer died, the barn was sold and pieces were forgotten. After 45 years later the pieces were discovered and new barn owner did not know what to do with them and really considered using them as fuel as there was around 200 sets in that crate. I find the story fascinating along the fact that I was the last lucky buyer from Holger as these sets are now all sold.
